SAM FENDER
When: Thursday 3rd June - Thursday 2nd September 2027 (multiple UK dates)
Sam Fender goes stadium-sized in summer 2027 with the Proper Massive Stadium Tour, opening with a pair of homecoming nights at Newcastle’s St James’ Park. Two nights at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium and two at Wembley Stadium, his biggest headline shows to date, follow in June, then Edinburgh’s Murrayfield and two nights at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium in July, before a third Wembley date in September closes the UK run. Wunderhorse, Jacob Slater’s Cornish alt-rock band, support on every date apart from the September Wembley show.
It caps the most successful stretch of his career so far. Third album People Watching went to No. 1 in 2025 and won that year’s Mercury Prize, and its duet with Olivia Dean, "Rein Me In", went on to break a 73-year chart record in 2026, becoming the longest-running No. 1 single in UK chart history with 23 non-consecutive weeks at the top. A fourth album is due to follow. Not bad for a songwriter first spotted singing in the North Shields pub where he worked behind the bar.

KING GIZZARD & THE LIZARD WIZARD
When: Tuesday 22nd & Wednesday 23rd June 2027 (Bowlers Exhibition Centre, Manchester & Canons Marsh Amphitheatre, Bristol)
King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard head outdoors for two UK shows in June 2027, starting with a special two-and-a-half-hour set at Manchester’s Bowlers Exhibition Centre, their first show in the city since 2024. The following night they headline Bristol Sounds at Canons Marsh Amphitheatre, a 5,000-capacity show by the water that ranks among their biggest outdoor headline sets to date.
Since forming in Melbourne in 2010, the six-piece have released 28 studio albums, five in 2022 alone, moving through garage rock, psychedelia, thrash metal, jazz fusion and microtonal experiments. Their latest record, Alien Metal, goes further still, with the band swapping guitars for a homemade modular synth nicknamed "Nathan" that all six members play at once. Twenty-eight albums in, they’ve also scored their first US Billboard Hot 100 entry, guesting alongside Tame Impala and SZA on Justice’s "Flower in a Hurricane", the song behind the Grand Theft Auto VI launch trailer.
DIIV
When: Thursday 24th - Wednesday 30th June 2027 (multiple UK dates)
DIIV bring fifth album ZIRP! to the UK on ZIRP! The World Tour, four dates in late June 2027. The run opens at Brighton’s Chalk and closes at London’s Troxy, with Manchester’s Albert Hall and The Crane in Bristol in between. Released on Friday 30th October 2026, the record was produced by A. G. Cook, known for his work with Charli XCX, and takes its name from the zero interest rate policies associated with a decade of tech start-ups.
Cook’s first move was to turn down the band’s idea of a Screamadelica-style remix job and follow them on tour instead, insisting on recording live drums before most of the songs were finished. The result is DIIV’s poppiest record yet: the shoegaze roar of 2024’s Frog in Boiling Water is still there, but it’s pointed at bigger hooks on "The Fountain" and "Dare Me", with lyrics that skewer Palantir, BlackRock and the streaming economy. On "Trillions", they even set out to write the kind of song that ends up in Spotify’s Billions Club, which makes it either a bid for the playlist or the sharpest joke on the record, and probably both.
JACOB BANKS
When: Thursday 18th March 2027 (Troxy, London)
Jacob Banks brings his rich baritone to London’s Troxy in March 2027 for a one-off headline show. Born in Nigeria and raised in Birmingham, he first broke through as the voice on Chase & Status’ "Alive", a UK top 30 hit in 2013, before signing to Interscope for his 2018 album Village and its slow-burning standout "Unknown (To You)", which went viral after closing a season of the US drama Power.
Since then he’s gone independent, releasing 2022’s gospel-steeped Lies About the War and a run of music on Nobody Records, while his songs have quietly become a soundtrack staple, turning up in Suits, The Equalizer 2 and 3, FIFA and even Game of Thrones tie-in album For the Throne, where he joined X Ambassadors on "Baptize Me". For a voice that’s soundtracked so many end credits and trailers, a room the size of Troxy offers the chance to hear it live, without the explosions.
GANS
When: Monday 15th March - Sunday 25th April 2027 (multiple UK dates)
It was a DIY gig in a Birmingham vintage clothes shop that first brought GANS to Peter Doherty’s attention, and he soon signed them to his own label. The West Midlands duo of Thomas Rhodes and Euan Woodman have barely stopped since, playing close to 200 shows so far in 2026 and supporting The Libertines, Pixies and The Vaccines. The At Peace with GANS spring 2027 tour calls at venues including Portsmouth’s Wedgewood Rooms, Newcastle’s The Grove and The Piper in Hastings, with a London show at Village Underground.
The tour lands a couple of weeks after self-titled second album GANS, out on Friday 26th February 2027 and made with Killing Joke’s Youth at his studio in southern Spain. Written in an Airbnb in the Netherlands as both members came out of relationships, it pushes much deeper into electronic music than 2025 debut Good For The Soul, with touring saxophonist Tommy Lawther adding to the mix. Single "My God Is A Stranger" is, in the band’s words, “a cauldron of casual sex and witchcraft”, which is a long way from the clothes rails where it all started.
