SIMPLY RED

When: Saturday 7th August 2027 (Chester Racecourse)

Simply Red return to the road in summer 2027 for the Summer Funk '27 tour, joined by special guests Soul II Soul and Heather Small, calling at Chester Racecourse as part of a run built for outdoor stages — including venues the band have never played before. It's the next chapter in a career spanning more than 40 years and some 1,700 shows, from 1980s Manchester clubs to arenas, castles and amphitheatres across the world. The tour follows a 2025 anniversary run that took in almost 50 international shows to over a million people, including a homecoming date at Manchester's Co-op Live and a sold-out five-night stand at Santiago's Movistar Arena.

Frontman Mick Hucknall remains the constant at the centre of it all: five UK No. 1 albums, a UK No. 1 single and two US Billboard Hot 100 chart-toppers put Simply Red among the most consistently successful British acts of the last four decades, while 2025's Recollections — 40 newly recorded versions of the band's best-known songs — was a fitting way to mark the anniversary year. "I get the same pleasure walking out on that stage that I did in 1985," Hucknall has said, and with the 2027 tour being hosted at venues the band have never played before, that pleasure looks set to continue.

RY X

When: Thursday 1st & Friday 2nd April 2027 (Octagon Centre, Sheffield & Albert Hall, Manchester)

RY X returns to the UK in spring 2027 with his DUSK Tour, in support of his fourth album — his first since 2022's Blood Moon — due in early 2027. Lead single "Holy Water", released this September, sets the tone with its intimate, acoustic-led sound, capturing the rawness and imperfections of the recording rather than smoothing them away. It's a deliberate return to the organic, emotionally exposed songwriting that first put RY X on the map, after a decade that's also seen him lend vocals to Drake's "Sticky" and collaborate with orchestras including the LA Philharmonic.

That approach carries into the live show, where voice, acoustic instruments and electronic textures create something intimate and immersive. The wider tour takes in some of Europe's major concert halls, including Berlin's Tempodrom, Brussels' Forest National and Paris' L'Olympia, making the Sheffield and Manchester dates a chance to experience DUSK up close before RY X takes the new album to larger rooms.

JAMIE T

When: Monday 19th October 2026 (O2 Academy Oxford)

Jamie T brings an intimate solo show to O2 Academy Oxford in support of his sixth studio album, Ghosts (100 Days of Morning), released via Polydor Records on Friday 9th October 2026 — more than 15 years on from his debut, Panic Prevention (2007). The 11-track record, co-produced with James Dring (Loyle Carner, Blur) and Hugo White (The Maccabees), reflects on growing older, love, loss and the nostalgia of indie-era nights. It features lead single "3310", while Damon Albarn co-writes and plays additional keys on "Cocktail", with "Tallahassee" closing the record.

It's the follow-up to 2022's The Theory of Whatever, and comes after a run that's seen Jamie T play his largest-ever headline show at Finsbury Park in 2023 and team up with Fred again.. on "Lights Burn Dimmer", a reworking of his own "Hippodrome". The Oxford date offers a chance to hear the new songs up close in an intimate acoustic setting, alongside B-sides, songs he's never played before and reimagined versions of fan favourites. Before he heads to bigger stages, including Manchester's Co-op Live on his winter run, this is a chance to catch Jamie T in a much more stripped-back setting.

AGNES OBEL

When: Thursday 4th November 2027 (Eventim Apollo, London)

Agnes Obel heads to London next year with her fifth studio album, The Meaning of Flowers, following her return to touring in 2025 after five years away from the stage. The Berlin-based, Danish-born pianist has built a career around an evocative blend of chamber-pop, neo-classical, jazz and electronic music, with albums including Philharmonics (2010), Aventine (2013) and Myopia (2020) establishing her distinctive sound. Her music has also featured across film, TV and gaming, appearing in The Last of Us, True Detective and Dark Souls III.

Her first album in six years draws on poetry, philosophy and the emotional shifts of new motherhood, and is dedicated to her daughter. Influences range from the poetry of Enheduanna, often considered the world's first named author, to the ideas of Hannah Arendt and Emanuele Coccia, alongside Danish pop from the 1980s and 1990s. Following a sold-out Royal Albert Hall date on her 2025 return, Obel brings this new chapter to the Eventim Apollo, where she'll perform The Meaning of Flowers live.

LAMBRINI GIRLS

When: Thursday 4th - Saturday 6th March 2027 (multiple UK dates)

Lambrini Girls head out on their 2027 UK tour behind No Refunds (out January 2027), their second album and a darker, more direct follow-up to breakthrough debut Who Let The Dogs Out, which reached the UK Top 20 in 2025. Singles "Cult of Celebrity" and "Bang Bang Bang" give a first taste of the new record, which takes aim at subjects including fascism, reproductive rights, AI and the online "manosphere".

The album arrives as a leap forward for the band, both in the confidence and maturity of their lyrics and the breadth and execution of the music around them. Known for their guts and wit, Lambrini Girls have built a live reputation where the anger in their songs spills over into the crowd, pulling the audience into the confrontation. After a packed festival run that included Bonnaroo, Pukkelpop, Lowlands and Primavera Sound, these UK dates offer the first chance to hear how the new material lands on stage.
