The Velveteers are a rock band from Boulder, Colorado, built around the commanding presence of frontwoman Demi Demitro, whose thunderous riffs and soaring vocals sit at the heart of everything they do. Their real calling card is a double-drummer set-up that gives their gritty garage-rock sound a huge, driving foundation, and it has helped make them one of the most exciting live acts in modern rock.
After a relentless run of touring behind their 2021 debut, Nightmare Daydream, the band returned with their second album, A Million Knives, again produced by GRAMMY-winning Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys. Along the way they have shared stages with some of rock's biggest names, opening for Guns N' Roses, Smashing Pumpkins and Greta Van Fleet, and touring alongside The Black Keys themselves. Loud, dynamic and impossible to ignore, The Velveteers pair raw power with tightly crafted songs to deliver a show that is well worth catching live.
