FAYE WEBSTER

When: Thursday 27th August 2026 (National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks, Dublin)

The Atlanta-based singer-songwriter Faye Webster has been announced as the final headliner for Wider Than Pictures 2026, taking place at the National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks in Dublin.

Known for blending country, folk, R&B and indie rock into a sound that feels both intimate and genre-defying, Webster has quietly become one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary indie music. Since breaking through with Atlanta Millionaires Club (2019) and its acclaimed follow-up I Know I’m Funny haha (2021), she has built a devoted global audience drawn to her understated vocals, dry wit and emotionally precise songwriting.

Webster joins a standout line-up for the 2026 Wider Than Pictures concert series, which will also welcome Amyl and the Sniffers, BerliozMac DeMarco and Super Furry Animals to the historic courtyard of Collins Barracks.

Their explosive sound and ambitious songwriting have already drawn praise from outlets including The Guardian, NME, The Quietus and The Line of Best Fit, while Rolling Stone described them at SXSW as “a young band in the process of inventing something ecstatically new”.

Following their recent signing to Fiction Records – home to artists such as The Cure and St. Vincent – the band will take in dates in Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, Portsmouth, Bristol, Nottingham and London, culminating in their biggest London headline show yet at Electric Ballroom.

When: Saturday 6th March 2027 (The O2, London)

Sarkodie has announced a major London headline show at The O2 Arena next March, bringing his Rapperholic UK event to the capital.

The concert will mark the Ghanaian rapper’s first solo arena-scale show in the UK and forms part of celebrations around the 70th anniversary of Ghana’s independence.

The announcement follows a landmark moment for Sarkodie, who recently became the first African rapper to sell out the Royal Albert Hall, performing alongside Efya, Headie One, Stormzy and Shatta Wale.

Widely regarded as one of Africa’s most influential hip-hop artists, Sarkodie’s appearance at The O2 arena looks set to be the next major chapter in a career that has helped shape the continent’s rap scene.
