Following the breakout success of 2023’s CACTI – a critically acclaimed album that led to standout festival slots and a rapidly growing fanbase – Billy Nomates is back with Metalhorse – her most powerful and personal record to date – and she’s hitting the road with a full band in tow. This is a brand new era, blending raw emotion, sonic experimentation, and that unmistakable Nomates spirit.

From storming Glastonbury to collaborating with The StranglersHugh Cornwell, Billy Nomates has always done things her way. Metalhorse takes that spirit further – a concept album born from grief, change and total reinvention.

FRANKIE COSMOS

DIFFERENT TALKING UK TOUR 2025


Frankie Cosmos is the acclaimed indie-pop project fronted by New York songwriter Greta Kline. With a knack for sharp, observant lyrics and lo-fi charm, the band has become a beloved voice in the DIY scene, releasing a steady run of standout albums including Zentropy (2014), Next Thing (2016), Vessel (2018) and Inner World Peace (2022). Their sixth album, Different Talking, arrives on Friday 27th June 2025 via Sub Pop – the band’s most sonically adventurous release yet, recorded entirely by the group themselves.

This November, Frankie Cosmos bring Different Talking to life on tour, with headline shows in DublinManchester and London. Known for their heartfelt performances and intimate connection with fans, the band have previously played festivals including Primavera Sound and Pitchfork Paris, and have headlined beloved UK venues like EartH and The Haunt. With Kline’s tender songwriting at its core and a full band behind her, Frankie Cosmos continues to evolve while staying rooted in the honest, emotionally rich storytelling that made them a cult favourite.

Dinosaur Pile-Up

I'VE FELT BETTER TOUR 2025

Dinosaur Pile-Up return with their highly anticipated fifth studio album, I’ve Felt Better, due for release on 22nd August 2025 via Mascot Records. After a six-year hiatus, the band are back in action, driven by the experiences of overcoming life-threatening illness and a renewed perspective on life. Their new single, “My Way,” is a defiant anthem of control and resilience, capturing the band's raw energy and unapologetic spirit. The album explores themes of struggle, vulnerability, and love, reflecting the deeply personal journey frontman Matt Bigland has endured. The band will be taking their new material on the road in September, playing across the UK in Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, and London.

Dinosaur Pile-Up have a history of captivating UK audiences with their high-octane live performances. In 2019, they completed a completely sold-out UK tour, and their return to the stage is highly anticipated. They have supported major acts like Shinedown and The Offspring, while also playing at top festivals such as Download and Reading & Leeds. With their new album, the band are set to continue their evolution and reaffirm their place at the forefront of the UK rock scene. HORSEGIRL

Chicago-based indie rock trio hit the UK


Horsegirl, the Chicago-based indie rock trio, have quickly made a name for themselves with their distinctive blend of post-punk, shoegaze, and art rock. Since forming in 2019, the band has captivated listeners with their raw energy and unique sound, which draws comparisons to bands like Sonic Youth and My Bloody Valentine. Their debut album, Versions of Modern Performance (2022), was met with critical acclaim, showcasing their ability to blend angular guitar riffs with dreamy atmospherics while exploring themes of personal growth and the complexities.

Horsegirl’s live performances have gained significant attention, and they’ll be taking their electrifying stage presence to several UK venues in 2025. They’ll play at Scala, London on Sunday 29th June, as well as at Band on the Wall in Manchester on Saturday 21st June, and Thekla in Bristol on Thursday 26th June. With each show, Horsegirl continues to solidify their place as one of the most exciting new acts in indie rock.

Continues the legacy of the renowned Penguin Café Orchestra


Penguin Café, led by Arthur Jeffes, continues the legacy of the renowned Penguin Café Orchestra, blending classical, folk, and avant-garde influences into a unique sound. Jeffes, son of the Orchestra's founder, Simon Jeffes, has revitalised the ensemble, bringing their distinctive music to new audiences.

In 2025, Penguin Café will perform a special concert at Soho Theatre in Walthamstow, London, on Saturday 1st November 2025. This event will feature a selection of classic pieces from the Penguin Café Orchestra's repertoire, celebrating their enduring appeal. To coincide with this performance, six of the Orchestra's original albums are being re-released on vinyl for the first time since their initial pressings, courtesy of Integral Distribution Services and Universal Music Recordings.
