Made up of Nora Cheng, Penelope Lowenstein, and Gigi Reece, the band weaves together a sound that channels ‘90s noise rock, shoegaze, and post-punk while staying refreshingly modern.
Their debut album, Versions of Modern Performance (2022), released on Matador Records, established them as one of the most exciting new bands on the scene. With hypnotic guitar textures, lo-fi production, and an effortlessly cool approach to melody, they evoke the spirit of Sonic Youth, My Bloody Valentine, and Pavement while making something uniquely their own.
