Glasgow-based composer and musician C Duncan (full name Christopher Duncan) is a bridge between the world of classic music and contemporary styles.
His debut album Architect saw him nominated for the illustrious Mercury Music Prize in 2015. Duncan followed with his second record The Midnight Sun in 2016 and in 2019 he dropped his third record Health which saw him shortlisted for the Scottish Album of the Year Award.
Duncan is also an accomplished painter. He cites Grant Wood and Gerhard Richter as prime influences on his work.
