Having seen the band multiple times over the 13 years they've toured here I was well and truly blown away by this performance. Every song worked so well the mix or old classics and new anthems was a beautiful treat for my ears! A band that only gets better with age.

Thrash metal band Trivium enjoy worldwide adoration from their legions of fans. Bold, experimental and intense, Trivium are at the fore of metal and continue to expand the horizon for heavy guitar music.

Currently the band includes drummer Paul Wandtke, lead guitar from Corey Beaulieu whilst Matt Heafy takes lead vocals and rhythm guitar whilst Paolo Gregoletto plays bass. They have recorded seven studio albums which have totalled to over a million sales so far.

They begin 2018 with an exciting April tour which takes them to O2 Academy Bristol, O2 Academy Birmingham, Manchester Academy and O2 Academy Brixton in London.

They formed in Orlando, Florida, during 1999 after Healy performed a cover of Metallica’s No Leaf Clover at a High School talent show which attracted interest from fellow school friends. They adopted the name Trivium which is Latin for a three-way intersection as they intended to fuse metalcore, death metal and thrash.

Trivium hit the studio in 2003 to make a high quality demo which was sized upon by German label Lifeforce upon release. They signed the band and sent them immediately back into the studio who quickly recorded and released their demo album Ember To Inferno the same year.

Their break came in 2005 with the release of second album Ascendancy. Released in Spring, it shot to #4 on the Top Heatseekers chart and was quickly praised by the music press, including Kerrang! who made it their album of the year.

Having broke onto the world stage, their subsequent releases have continued to impress and enjoy commercial success. Their back catalogue includes The Crusade (2006), Shogun (2008), In Waves (2011), Vengeance Falls (2013) and their latest release Silence In Snow (2015).

Trivium concert tickets will not last long so please book early before they are gone. Always make Gigantic your first stop for gig tickets.
