In Flames, Roundhouse, London - 5th April 2019

ONe of the best concert of this year so far :)
The venue was not the best, the cloak room queue was insane, but the concert itself was worth every penny :)

Swedish heavy rockers In Flames have been melting faces for nearly thirty years, having established themselves as essential live viewing!

From the first opus in 1994 titled “Lunar Strain” to the previous release “Sounds of a Playground Fading” (2011), In Flames has risen to great heights in music history. The melodies, the harmonies and the lyrics that characterize In Flames’ signature sound have evolved throughout the years proving that In Flames is so much more than their former self.

Next year, they make their way to the UK to blow away audiences once again. You can see them at O2 Manchester Ritz, Roundhouse in London, Nottingham’s Rock City, SWX at Bristol and The Nick Rayns, LCR at Norwich during April 2019.

Formed in Gothenburg, Sweden in 1990, In Flames is world-renown as one of the forefathers of Melodic Death Metal. With ten studio albums released, countless successful tours around the globe, millions of records sold and a massive fanbase worldwide, In Flames has proven to be an unstoppable force in heavy music.

At this point, In Flames are less of a band than they are a musical institution in the heavy music world. Since helping create Sweden's legendary “Gothenberg Sound” three decades ago to their current status as heavy music monoliths, the act have constantly eschewed trends in order to forge their own musical path.

This is evident on their 13th full-length I, The Mask, which sees them reuniting with multi Grammy-nominated producer Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, Motörhead), who also produced 2016's Battles, in order to further redefine their sound. “I think it's very difficult for In Flames to be something we're not and that dichotomy of melody and aggression will always be at the core of our identity,” vocalist Anders Fridén explains from a tour stop opening for Deep Purple in Mexico. “We are always open to new ideas and don't let anything limit us,” guitarist Björn Gelotte adds. “We just ask ourselves if we will love playing this stuff live... and as long as we feel that nothing can really touch us.”

We know you all want In Flames concert tickets, but the massive demand on only limited supplies means you need to book before they all go.
