The Wombats are a British indie rock band from Liverpool, known for their infectious melodies, witty lyrics, and high-energy performances. Since forming in 2003, the band has gained widespread popularity with hits like "Let’s Dance to Joy Division" and "Moving to New York". Their debut album, A Guide to Love, Loss & Desperation (2007), became a fan favourite, and they've continued to build on that success with albums like Glitterbug and Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life. Their album, Fix Yourself, Not the World, released in 2022, showcases their evolution while maintaining their signature indie sound.
The Wombats have earned a reputation for their lively live shows, performing at major UK festivals such as Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds, and TRNSMT. They have also supported Arctic Monkeys on tour, further cementing their status in the indie rock scene.
