Currently comprised of Henry Harrison (Piano), Blaine Harrison (Vocals, Guitar), William Rees (Vocals, Guitar), Kapil Trivedi (Drums) and Jack Flanagan (Bass).
Modernising psychedelia and prog rock, they emerged in the mid-noughties with a wonky pop sound that stood them apart from a music scene that was undergoing an obsession with revivals of post punk.
The band formed in 2003 and were originally titled The Misery Jets. The name was adapted from an Evening Standard headline reporting on the planes that would roar overhead their home of Eel Pie Island in Wickenham, London. The name change came when Blaine accidently misspelt their name as he painted it on a drum skin.
Their career has been charted with success as they band have worked hard and produced six studio albums in the past ten years.
