The Subways are a British rock band formed in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, in 2002. The band consists of Billy Lunn (vocals and guitar), Charlotte Cooper (bass and vocals), and Camille Phillips (drums). Founding member Josh Morgan (drums) departed the band in October 2020 for personal reasons.
The band’s debut album, Young for Eternity, was released in 2005, featuring hit tracks like "Rock & Roll Queen" and "Oh Yeah." They followed up with All or Nothing (2008), Money and Celebrity (2011), and The Subways (2015). Their latest release, Uncertain Joys, dropped in January 2023, offering a fresh mix of rock, synth, and pop textures.
The Subways are renowned for their high-energy live shows and have built a loyal fan base over the years.
