A legendary British songwriter and cultural icon whose career spans punk, soul and beyond — always driven by passion, purpose and style.
Paul Weller is one of Britain’s most enduring and influential songwriters, affectionately known as The Modfather. Rising to fame in the late ’70s as frontman of The Jam, he captured the energy and social awareness of the era through sharp, defiant anthems such as “Going Underground” and “Town Called Malice”. When The Jam disbanded in 1982, Weller reinvented himself with The Style Council, exploring blue-eyed soul, jazz and pop on hits like “Walls Come Tumbling Down!” and Long Hot Summer, cementing his reputation as an artist unafraid to evolve.
As a solo artist, Weller has continued to push creative boundaries across a catalogue of critically acclaimed albums, from Stanley Road (1995) — home to the timeless “You Do Something to Me” — to later works such as True Meanings and Fat Pop (Volume 1). A multi-generational influence, he remains a restless, passionate voice in British music, constantly reinventing while staying true to his roots.
