Writing not your thing and fancy yourself as the next big presenter? Grab a mic, some basic editing software and you could start your very own Podcast. There’s a simple guide to getting started right HERE.

Ricky Gervais was amongst the first to seize upon podcasts. Teaming up with lanky mate Stephen Merchant who helped him to co-write The Office plus a round headed buffoon called Karl Pilkington, the trio talked about everything from the meaning of life, the pains and privilege of travelling and even the latest monkey news. You can listen to the record-breaking episodes for free HERE.

The range of podcasts is seemingly limitless, and some of our favourite in the office include Athletico Mince, The Guilty Feminist, In Our Time, Song Exploder and Shut Up And Give Me Murder!

YouTube have taken the podcast even further and given birth to a new star of the screen; the vlogger! There’s some real money to be made in this relatively new media with online stars such as beauty and fashion vlogger Zoella Sugg’s estimated to be worth around £2.5 million and the hilariously awkward Dan Howell. Tech companies have jumped onboard and are producing ever-better dedicated cameras for increasingly lower prices. There is an informative Wikihow detailing your first steps HERE. Just do us a favour, stay classy and don’t become the next Pewdiepie.
