BELLADRUM FESTIVAL 2027

When: Thursday 29th - Saturday 31st July 2027 (Belladrum Estate, Inverness)

Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival is coming back for summer 2027, and it's not waiting around for a line-up to justify it: tickets are available before a single act for next year's bill has been confirmed, making it the perfect time to lock in a spot. It follows a 2026 edition that drew up to 25,000 people a day to the Belladrum Estate near Inverness, with The Human League (playing their first-ever Belladrum), Mika, Callum Beattie and Razorlight among the headliners across more than 300 acts and 14 stages.

Belladrum has become Scotland's largest family-friendly camping festival thanks to a mix of major names, emerging talent and a programme broad enough to cover comedy, spoken word and wellbeing alongside the music itself. Organisers are keeping schtum on who's booked for 2027, with the first line-up details expected in the coming months — for now, this is a bet on the festival itself, no line-up needed.

LANG LANG

When: Sunday 2nd May - Tuesday 7th December 2027 (multiple UK dates)

Lang Lang has called this his "biggest tour ever", spanning the UK and Ireland throughout 2027 — and the run of five UK dates alone, from Symphony Hall, Birmingham next May through to Royal Concert Hall, Glasgow in December 2027, shows the scale of the undertaking. The New York Times called him "the hottest artist on the classical music planet", and it's not hard to see why. He has performed at the Beijing Olympics opening ceremony, the reopening of Notre-Dame, and the GRAMMY Awards alongside Metallica and Herbie Hancock, proving just as comfortable collaborating with Ed Sheeran or Rosé of BLACKPINK as he is with Sir Simon Rattle or Gustavo Dudamel.

For these performances, the focus returns to the classical repertoire, with a programme of works by Mozart, Beethoven, Albéniz, Granados and Liszt presented across Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Nottingham and Glasgow.

DECLAN MCKENNA

When: Monday 24th August 2026 (The Sugarmill, Stoke-on-Trent)

Declan McKenna's first UK headline dates in two years are a welcome return to the kind of small, sweaty rooms where he first made his name. After self-releasing his breakout single "Brazil" at 15, booking his own tiny gigs and winning Glastonbury's Emerging Talent Competition in 2015, McKenna is revisiting grassroots venues with the self-deprecatingly titled At Minimum Capacity Tour. The four-date run includes The Sugarmill in Stoke-on-Trent, just days before he steps onto Reading and Leeds Festival's newly revamped main stage, The Grid.

The shows follow 2024's What Happened To The Beach?, which NME described as "a truly joyful effort", and the release of double A-side single "Champagne" / "That's Life", produced with longtime collaborator Jules Apollinaire. McKenna has kept busy since, opening for Imagine Dragons at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last month while continuing work on new material. For one night in Stoke, fans will get the chance to see him in a venue holding just a fraction of the audience he'll play to later that week.

MEGADETH

When: Thursday 11th - Friday 19th March 2027 (multiple UK dates)

Megadeth's farewell tour isn't built like most. Rather than a single lap before calling time, the Breakout: Hibernation Of The Nations Tour is a multi-year, multi-continent celebration of the band's 40-year legacy, with this European chapter arriving after their self-titled seventeenth album delivered a career milestone: their first-ever No. 1 on the Billboard 200, alongside chart-topping success in Australia and Austria.

This isn't about saying goodbye. It's about celebrating everything we've built together over the last four decades,” says Dave Mustaine. With Black Label Society and Testament joining the entire run, UK audiences can expect one of the strongest thrash bills of the year when the tour hits seven arenas across London, Nottingham, Manchester, Cardiff, Glasgow, Birmingham and Leeds.

MUTATIONS FESTIVAL 2026

Mutations Festival 2026 poster

When: Friday 23rd - Saturday 24th October 2026 (various Brighton venues)

Mutations Festival has just added 71 names to what organisers are calling "the most ambitious and exciting edition yet", taking the Brighton multi-venue event past 100 artists across ten grassroots venues over two days. Fat Dog headlines Friday and Mike D of Beastie Boys tops Saturday's bill, but it's the fresh additions that give the weekend its depth: Brighton's own Squid lead Friday's new names alongside Working Men's ClubBdrmm and Lip Critic, while Saturday gains Dove Ellis, whose debut album Blizzard (2025) has just been shortlisted for the 2026 Mercury Prize, alongside Alex CameronTTSSFU and Liz Lawrence.

For a festival built around discovering artists before they outgrow small rooms, pairing a Mercury Prize-shortlisted newcomer with a founding member of Beastie Boys says everything about its ambition. Weekend passes cover all ten venues on a single wristband - one lanyard, zero excuses.

Buying tickets this week? Here's what you need to know

When do tickets usually go on sale?

Most tickets go on sale in the morning, typically between 09:00 and 10:00, although times can vary by event. Always check the individual event page for confirmed details.

What sells out the fastest?

Limited-run events, one-off performances and smaller-capacity shows often see the highest demand, but major festival launches and special live experiences can generate just as much urgency. This week’s Belladrum and Declan McKenna on-sales are a perfect example.

Should I buy tickets straight away?

If you're set on going, yes. One-off performances and early-bird prices rarely come around twice.

What are the biggest ticket releases this week?
