Grab tickets for the Immersion: The Final Chapter tour
Out-of-this-world electronic-rock band Starset have reached mass audiences online, sharing their interstellar concept albums via TikTok and YouTube. This year sees Starset touch down in the UK for their Immersion: The Final Chapter tour. Tickets are released at 10:00 Friday 12th April 2024 so set your event reminder right now!
Starset was formed by Dustin Bates in 2013. He created an exciting backstory for the semi-fictitious sci-fi band, claiming that the Starset Society had formed to preach “The Message” as received from an alien source beyond the stars. This mix of progressive-electronic-rock and grandiose mythologising was an instant success, and their first record Transmissions became one of the highest debut albums for a rock band in 2014. It featured the single "My Demons" which amassed over 280 million YouTube views.
The second album Vessels would include the lead "Monster", their most successful song to date reaching No. 2 on the US Billboard Mainstream Rock. It would rocket the record into the Top 20, charting in various other countries around the world. Starset‘s success has continued with the release of their most recent LP Horizons in 2021.

Elles Bailey
The best of British blues
Beneath The Glow is the title of blues-rock superstar Elles Bailey‘s eagerly awaited forthcoming album. Its brutally honest lyrics make it a revealing record which is sure to be one of the biggest releases of the year and Bailey shows her new record off with a tour in November.
Bailey will also appear at Glasgow Blues, Rhythm & Rock Festival plus Steelhouse Festival this summer. Tickets available with Gigantic.
Elles Bailey is a leading light in British blues. Her album Shining in the Half Light topped the Official Jazz and Blues Albums Chart and hit No. 2 of the Official Americana Albums Chart upon release in 2022. This led to winning multiple awards including Artist of the Year, Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year at the UK Blues Awards.
This year sees the release of her live album Live at The Fire Station plus a lengthy tour that kicks off in November.

Wardruna
Dark-folk like you’ve never heard it before
Nordic-folk group Wardruna uses traditional instruments in experimental ways. Their neo-Norse sound and aesthetic has global appeal, and UK fans will be excited to learn that they head to our shores to tour in March.
Wardruna, meaning "she who whispers", was formed in 2003 by the drummer Einar Selvik and singer Lindy-Fay Hella of black-metal band Gorgoroth. Their last studio album Kvitravn was released in 2021, which explored the spiritual connection between humanity and nature hit No. 1 in Austria and broke the Top 10 in Germany and Switzerland. It was soon followed by the live album Kvitravn – First Flight of the White Raven.

The Felice Brothers
For fans of indie-folk and Americana
Last year saw the surprise release of Brooklyn-based folk-rockers The Felice Brothers latest LP Asylum on the Hill exclusively on Bandcamp which many consider to be their best record yet. Now, the New York quartet jump the pond to play UK shows this autumn. Tickets soon available with Gigantic.
The Felice Brothers sepia tinged sound fuses counterculture cool with their charming take on Americana, giving their songs a timeless feel. Darlings of the indie world, debut album Through These Reins and Gone was named in Radio Woodstock WDST's top 25 albums of 2006. They have also enjoyed mainstream success with the 2009 album Yonder Is the Clock plus Celebration, Florida which broke the US Billboard Top 10 in 2011.

Goat Girl
The wonderfully eccentric band unveil new material
Acclaimed South London post-punks Goat Girl prepare to unleash their third record Below the Waste this summer. They have just announced headline dates taking place at Leeds Irish Centre and Electric Brixton in support of the new material.
Formed in 2016, Goat Girl were quick to grab the attention of essential indie label Rough Trade who quickly snapped them up to release an eponymously titled debut record which featured in album of the year listings by NME, Louder Than War and Under the Radar.
Goat Girl continued to delight fans and critics alike with sophomore LP On All Fours. More considered than their previous output, it saw a massive leap in maturity and development for a band that continues to impress. The experimentation continues on new tracks “ride around” and “motorway”, both of which appear on their eagerly awaited new album Below the Waste.
