Play The Hits McFly Gigantic Tickets

Pop-rock boy band McFly rose to fame in the mid-00s thanks to their catchy guitar-driven hooks and upbeat sound.

The fresh-faced group, consisting of Tom Fletcher (lead vocals, guitar), Danny Jones (lead vocals, guitar), Dougie Poynter (bass, vocals) and Harry Judd (drums) dominated the charts with such hit singles as “5 Colours In Her Hair”, “Obviously” and "Baby's Coming Back". They would team up with James Bourne and Matt Willis of fellow pop-punk band Busted to form McBusted before taking a short break to focus on solo projects in 2018.

McFly returned from hiatus a year later and continue to thrill fans on stage and with each new record release.

This summer sees McFly play headline shows at Sandown Park Racecourse and Alexandra Head at Cardiff Bay – book right now with Gigantic Tickets!

McFly will also play support for "You're Nobody 'til Somebody Loves You" singer James Arthur when he takes over Riverside Stadium in Middlesbrough on Saturday 8th June 2024.

Gigantic invites you to relive the magic as we take a trip back down memory lane and play their greatest hits ahead of their unmissable shows.

“5 Colours In Her Hair”

Debut single “5 Colours In Her Hair” shot brand new band McFly to No. 1 when it dropped in 2004. Packed full of boyish charm, their first song felt like a cheeky introduction to a new generation of 21st century rock n’ roll and the overnight success saw the band become an instant household name.

“Obviously”

McFly‘s second release “Obviously” came just three months after they burst onto the scene. With echoes of The Beatles, the gorgeous vocal harmonies and huge string accompaniment shot the group to the top spot once again. Both “5 Colours In Her Hair” and “Obviously” would feature on the band’s first album Room on the 3rd Floor which rocketed to No. 1 and has subsequently reached 2x platinum sales.

“All About You”

“All About You” was the first taste of second album Wonderland. Opting for a more relaxed feel than you would expect from a lead single, the nostalgia vibes went into overdrive on this timeless ode to teenage love. The platinum selling song is McFly‘s biggest anthem and you can hear it played live when you see them play this summer.

"Star Girl"

"Star Girl" appeared on McFly‘s third album Motion in the Ocean and was their sixth single to hit No. 1, remaining in the Top 20 for a further two weeks. Inspiration for the punchy track came from Tom Fletcher’s dream about dating an alien which led to out of this world success for the lads.

"Where Did All the Guitars Go?"

Power to Play is the latest album from McFly. Unleashed last summer, it sees the boys explore a heavier sound before, and kicks off with lean, mean intro track "Where Did All the Guitars Go?". The lead single sees the band lean into a power-rock feel akin to Weezer and should always be played at maximum volume.

You are bound to hear all these smash hits and more from McFly when you book tickets to their summer shows with Gigantic. Click the link and look forward to a thrilling show and a great experience.
