THE WEATHER STATION AT LONDON OSLO
I saw The Weather Station about 3 years ago, shortly after the release of the album 'Loyalty' at a pub venue in North London. Although it was an excellent gig, last Tuesday's show at the Oslo was altogether a more satisfying experience. The band provided sensitive backing to Tamara Lindeman's songs, but played with just the right level of energy to give the songs real heft in live performance. Tamara Lindeman's reading of her songs was pitch perfect and all told this was a most memorable evening. Nice support from Red River Dialect, too.
