The Veils are a London-based band led by New Zealand-born singer-songwriter Finn Andrews, known for their darkly cinematic sound and emotionally charged songwriting. Signed to Rough Trade while Andrews was still a teenager, the band have built a catalogue spanning eight studio albums, including The Runaway Found (2004), Nux Vomica (2006), Total Depravity (2016), …And Out Of The Void Came Love (2023), Asphodels (2025) and Fragile World (2026). Across more than two decades, The Veils have continually evolved, blending brooding lyricism with sweeping arrangements and raw intensity.
Fragile World captures the band in an instinctive, urgent mode, recorded live to tape in New Zealand and shaped by a spirit of immediacy and creative risk.
