Phenomenal.....and thank god, NO MORE DODGY Boiler suit!
This is the Sam I wanted to see. Fantastic vocals, high energy performance, his band were phenomenal as were the support acts.
And best of all, gone was the AWFUL boiler suit and the novelty branding of Eurovision, which, in my opinion, took away from his artistic and song writing talent and turned him into a novelty act which is a HUGE waste. He is a truly talented song writer and musician who should be up there with other high charting artists, but his credibility was stolen by his previous label (trying to milk his Eurovision success) and the Eurovision stigma. He played a new unreleased track which was fantastic, and he played the best of the material from the last album (Inc More, July, Tiny Riot) and a couple of well chosen covers. All in all a stunning performance and a real treat that he came to Stoke.
