The WeekndDawn FM

Whilst the creative prowess of The Weeknd (aka Abel Tesfaye) has never been in doubt, many are calling his new album Dawn FM as a true masterpiece and its release the moment of recognition of the arrival of a true icon.

Tesfaye revealed through Twitter that Dawn FM is the first instalment in a trilogy of records – and judging the quality of a record that includes such quality singles like “Gasoline”, “Sacrifice” and “Take My Breath”; we know its going to be a big year for fans of The Weeknd.

SpectorNow or Whenever

Delightfully awkward and always purposefully out of step; indie rockers darlings Spector now drop their third LP Now or Whenever. Following the success of previous record Enjoy It While It Lasts which reached 12 in the charts, the band feel emboldened to be even more themselves and have returned with a record that dares to explore even greater emotional depths than before.

We’ve never been trendy, we’ve always been quite melodramatic and bombastic.” – Fred Macpherson
