After a record number of entries, Gigantic, which celebrates 10 years in business this year, has successfully been announced as finalists for ‘Ticketing Company of the Year’. The winners will be revealed on April 5 at a ceremony to over 900 of the industry's leading figures and celebrate the achievements of the top music industry professionals and teams.

Gigantic founder, Mark Gasson said: “We're delighted to be shortlisted for the 'Ticketing Company of the Year' award! We pride ourselves on being independent and over the last 10 years have grown into a full service agency with a great reputation. With a decade of experience in the ticket industry and a simple aim to get our customers into shows, the accolade would be an added bonus in our milestone year.”

The ‘Ticketing Company’ award recognises the crucial role played by ticketing companies in encouraging the continued strength of the live music industry.

With one of the largest inventories in the UK and a decade of experience in the ticket industry, Gigantic continues to deliver a seamless customer experience and has strong links with many of the country's biggest promoters, festivals and venues (refer to notes to editors for full list). Priding itself as an ethical primary ticket seller, Gigantic has also signed up to the FanFair Alliance Charter, the campaign against industrial-scale online ticket touting.

The Music Week Awards are firmly established as the unrivalled badge of excellence for the music sector, launched to raise standards across the industry by showcasing top class performance and innovation. Each year these prestigious awards are peer-voted and judged by an independent panel of specialist judges.
