UK’s longest running independent festival has announced 2020 will be held at new site

After another successful year, the UK’s longest running independent festival has announced 2020 will be held at a wonderful new site, Claydon Estate!  The team has been looking for the new location for some time and they have now found a perfect site that will home their idyllic family friendly festival.  Claydon Estate will allow room for the festival to expand the programming into some exciting new areas such as outdoor campfire workshops and to add more mindfulness and wellbeing such as outdoor activities… to find out more watch this video

“We are delighted to have found such a great new home for our wonderful Festival and to find a partner in Claydon Estate that is really excited to be working with us. We are also extremely pleased to continue working with Gigantic on making our ticketing operation as easy as it can be for our customers.  Partnerships are what make the Festival possible and having the backing of the great team at Gigantic is vital” Joe Heap, Towersey Festival Director.

Gigantic started working with Towersey ahead of 2019’s festival as the exclusive ticket agent and will continue to work closely with the team to help deliver 2020’s festival fulfilling their ticketing and marketing needs.  Our business development manager Simon attended the festival this year with his wife and son.

“We’re delighted to be working with Towersey again in 2020. Earlybird tickets went on sale over the weekend of the festival and sales have been already incredibly positive. I was on site this year with my family and the festival had an incredible atmosphere! I’m really looking forward to next year, to see how the move will enhance this great family festival.”

The team have also taken a different approach to their early bird tickets for 2020. Those who purchase these limited tickets get campsite access on Thursday the 27th of August plus a special Team Towersey arrivals party getting the first look at the new site. Acts confirmed for 2020 include Kate Rusby, Show of Hands, Steeleye Span, Grace Petrie and This Is the Kit. Plus expect all the usual Towersey programming  including 100’s of live bands, hours of Ceilidh, Workshops, Crafts, Street Theatre and a dedicated Children’s Programme.

Bring on Towersey Festival 2020!
