Wishbone Ash star Martin Turner has enjoyed fame since founding the band in 1969 which has still enjoys worldwide fame and an impressive legacy as one of the most important rock and roll bands of all time. Whilst a member, he contributed vocals, lyrics and the basslines to their classic record Argus. He also was a major part of the creation of the albums Noveau Calls, Here To Hear and Strange Affair following the bands reformation.
Following on from being singer and bassist for the band, he has carried on to enjoy a successful solo career performing live and recording new material.

Turner left Wishbone Ash in 1980 following disagreements with how the band should be arranged. In the years between then and when the band’s original line up reformed in 1987, he embarked on a highly successful solo career which now continues. In addition to his stunning live performances, he has also released the incredible album Walking The Reeperbahn which came out in 1996.
