Enid Blyton's Malory Towers gets the London theatre treatment! Don't miss this nostalgic trip down memory lane!

A NEW MUSICAL BASED ON THE NOVELS BY ENID BLYTON ADAPTED AND DIRECTED BY EMMA RICE

A MUSICAL FOR ALL AGES PRIOR TO LONDON’S WEST END

Nostalgic, naughty and perfect for now, Malory Towers is a musical of high jinks, high drama and high spirits.

Darrell Rivers is starting school with an eager mind and fierce hearts. Unfortunately, she also has a quick temper! Can she learn to tolerate the infuriating Gwendoline Lacey, or value the kind hearted Sally Hope? Can she save the school play and rescue terrified Mary Lou from the grip of a raging storm? If she can do these things anywhere, she will do them at Malory Towers!

Adapted and Directed by Emma Rice (Wise Children, Kneehigh’s Tristan & Yseult and Brief Encounter), this is a show for children and all of us grown up children who still dream of midnight feasts, pillow fights and headmistresses like Miss Grayling.

David Pugh presents a Wise Children production

Please note that latecomers will be admitted at an appropriate time in the production.

Queen Elizabeth Hall reopened in April 2018 following almost three years of renovations with world class, environmentally-improved new facilities for audiences and artists. The buildin is also home to Purcell Room a smaller, more intimate space.

The design led by architects Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios (FCBStudios), focused on refurbishing the auditoria, foyer and artists’ back of house facilities. Improved access, ventilation and lighting systems, and new production infrastructure enhance the experience for audience and performers alike. New leather upholstery revitalises the Queen Elizabeth Hall and Purcell Room’s distinctive and comfortable seating.
