”. Which, if you are a bit confused, means to party harder than anyone thought possible!
The world’s leading Gypsy folk punk band first got together in 1999 and quickly won over legions of fans with their riotous shows. Expect to see wild dancing, frenzied fiddling and a very tall man posing like a statue balancing on a bass drum whilst being carried aloft by an ecstatic crowd. No-one can say that a Gogol Bordello concert is a timid affair!
So it’s no wonder that the band’s reputation has spread like wildfire as people the world over are desperate to get involved and see their wild antics for themselves. The band have toured the world over, spreading their message of hope, energy and excitement.
Since their creation in 1999, the band have put out an impressive nine albums and have appeared in films and documentaries.
In March, Gogol Bordello return to the UK for their Gypsy Punks: Underdog World Strike Tour
, performing at Koko in London. This will be the first times they have played in London since their sold out shows at O2 Brixton Academy in 2013 and Roundhouse in 2014.

was produced by the legendary recording engineer Steve Albini (whose recording career includes producing Nirvana’s In Utero, Slint’s Tweez and Come On Pilgrim by Pixies) which was first released in 2005. This classic album tells the story of band ringleader Eugene Hutz, his story of coming to America as an immigrant and marks a high in the bands musical talent and lyrical intensity.
