*Please note that there is FREE Admission for children under 12 and note also that all children must be accompanied by an adult at all times during the festival

If lost, there can be no ticket replacement.  Tickets are not transferable. SORRY – NO REFUNDS FROM 1st May 2015, UNLESS THE EVENT IS CANCELLED DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES. Refunds before 1st  May will be entirely at the discretion of the Festival and will incur an administration fee.

The Festival gives no warranty that artists named in the programme and any publicity will perform at any particular time, or at all, and reserves the right to present alternative performers and re-programme events where unforeseen circumstances prevail. However, every effort will be made to carry out the programme as advertised.

All Campers – Please remember that noise carries further than you think. Please consider neighbours when playing live acoustic music, radios or CD players. Additionally, there are residents close to the Festival site and the Festival can only happen with their co-operation and goodwill.

Only dogs required to assist people with disabilities will be admitted into the Festival Arena. Those bringing caravans or motor homes may bring dogs as long as they are kept outside the Festival Arena and are kept on a lead at all times.

In a beautiful rural setting, next to Nottinghamshire's prettiest market town, crowned my its magnificent Minster,The Gate to Southwell Festival has grown into a truly unique event. With over 60 artists extected, on 5 music stages, the the festival has been described by R2 magazine as “excellent", and by Folk Radio UK as “without doubt, superb…and with a reputation for breaking new talent, both home grown and imported”.

The first artists names are being released. See www.gtsf.uk for the latest news. The UK’s favourite folk trio, The Young’uns play on Saturaday. Dallahan, described by Radio 2’s Mark Radcliffe as “some of the most exciting trad musicians to emerge in recent years” play Sunday and you shouldn’t miss acclaimed Scottish singer-songwriter Blue Rose Code, who Ewan Macgregor “can’t recommend enough”. If you saw them here 2013 you will also be making a date on Saturday to see Denmark’s most innovative and exciting folk band, Habadekuk.
