BBC Introducing, Metronome, Nottingham - 4th March 2020
Really enjoyed this free event, it was good to hear some new music from up and coming bands. I took my 15 year old son as he is studying music technology at school, he was really impressed with the bands and enjoyed being able to see some of the set up that was going on.

Missed the opener but both bands enjoyable and more than promising. Thanks BBC.

it was my 3rd visit to Metronome in Nottingham arriving at 6.40pm and the Lady on reception told us that the doors were at 7 but we could stay in the reception area which was good as very cold outside, a pleasant surprise as on the other 2 trips to the venue I had to wait outside in the rain and cold!
it is a good clean venue with helpful staff which can be standing or seated and excellent sound throughout the evening.
first up was the reason I went, Mollie Ralph is a young Nottingham singer / songwriter with a soulful voice and well written songs that would grace any large concert hall or bigger, having seen her with just a guitar to playing with a full band like she did tonight, every time she gives a quality performance which leaves you mesmerized by her beautiful voice, she is already a star to me and sure it won't be too long before she gets the break into the big time.
second up were Arcades from Leicester, it was the first time I had seen them and looking at how they were dressed we both said that they must be britpop along the lines of Oasis or the Stone Roses and as soon as Tommy started singing we both said Oasis and through the whole set I was impressed by the quality of this band and sure again with the right support slot they could become big, didn't get to talk to them afterwards as we had to dash off but well worth the trip

BBC Introducing, Metronome, Nottingham - 6th March 2019
The Metronome is a new venue and kitted out well for live music, with large stage, good acoustics and a giant, snazzy display panel at the back of the stage.
The BBC Introducing line up was a great mix of genres and top-class performances. Thoroughly recommend both the event and the venue.
