Kew Palace, situated on the banks of the Thames, upriver from London. There have been at least three Kew Palaces built in the gardens through history, but the surviving and restored palace is an example of the so-called Artisan Mannerist style of brick building. Despite its name, this beautiful building is more the size of a manner house than a true palace.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, The Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew are 300 acres of gorgeous landscapes with six magnificent glasshouses, here there are more species grown than any other garden in the world.

The Kew Palace has featured in BBC TV documentaries, including Tales From The Palaces.
