The Urban Voodoo Machine

The Urban Voodoo Machine is a collective of shadowy, London based, ne’er do wells, led by Norwegian born songwriter/frontman Paul-Ronney Angel. Featuring up to twelve musicians at any given time, The ‘Machine mash-up guitars, twin drumers, fiddle, trumpet, tuba, banjo, washboard, upright bass, gong, mandolin, accordion, harmonicas, saxophone, sousaphone and even empty bottles and tie racks to create their unique brand of Bourbon Soaked Gypsy Blues Bop’n’Stroll.

“Drawing deep from a dirty well where Tom Waits, Nick Cave and Dick Dale are enjoying a burlesque all-nighter with Ennio Morricone.” — CLASSIC ROCK

“The band veers into mariachi-influenced blues, whiskey-soaked country rags and punkabilly-style rave-ups.” — THE WASHINGTON POST

With support from:

The Future Shape of Sound
London 8-piece party band The Future Shape Of Sound create an eclectic mix of Northern Soul, scratchy Blues and 1960s film soundtracks. They call it 'Space Age Gangster Soul'! Fronted by guitarist and producer Alex McGowan. Alex’s tracks, both collaborations and as The Future Shape Of Sound, have featured in several soundtracks including Six Feet Under, CSI Miami, The OC plus Hollywood feature films ‘Bad Company’ (starring Anthony Hopkins and Chris Rock) and ‘Obsessed’ (starring Beyonce).

Honing his craft in the time-honoured tradition, hoboing the road. Most recently touring the UK supporting Beans On Toast, while over the years Tensheds has had the honour of opening for legends; John Mayall, Mick Taylor, Hazel O’Connor, Paul Young, Roger Chapman, Spear Of Destiny, Blockheads, Paul Kelly, and James Burton. Not to mention his touring commitments with Jim Jones And The Righteous Mind as fulltime keyboard player. Is it any wonder he’s been labelled “Jerry Lee Lewis and Tom Waits’ love child”.

John E Vistic Rock n' Roll Soundsystem
Country death rock psychedelia trash blues punk from Bristol. “…psychedelic country folk, laden with soul and thought provoking literary lyrics. Think Hozier and Johnny Cash meets The Doors with more than a dash of Jack White.”

Filthy Hard-Rocking Gypsy Blues from Leicester. Famed for their frenzied live performances that will make you stomp, and shake with their vicious and savage sounds. "Blending heavy blues, 60's psychedelia, gypsy roots & rock, GoldWater offer an unforgettable and energetic live performance that has to be seen to be believed."

Mystery Action
Emerging from a forgotten time, when Rock n Roll was raw, dirty and stripped to the bone. Not for the purists, or the faint hearted, Mystery Action fuse elements of Surf, Garage and Rockabilly and bastardise them into a transfixing mayhem.
