The Long Road is the UK’s largest outdoor celebration of Country, Americana and Roots music — a warm, vibrant and inclusive festival that brings the spirit of Nashville to the English countryside. Held at the beautiful Stanford Hall estate in Leicestershire, the festival offers a lovingly curated blend of world-class artists, rising voices and authentic southern charm. From foot-stomping bluegrass and heartfelt songwriting to modern Americana, alt-country and Nashville chart-toppers, The Long Road creates a rich tapestry of sounds that reflects the full breadth of the genre. It’s a weekend shaped by storytelling, community and a genuine passion for roots music.
More than a music festival, The Long Road is a full cultural experience. Its scenic site transforms into a country village, complete with themed stages, craft stalls, dance workshops, food inspired by the American South and immersive family-friendly activities. Fans gather around campfires, join line-dancing sessions, take part in songwriters’ rounds and explore unique spaces designed to showcase different corners of the Americana world. Loved for its atmosphere, authenticity and down-to-earth charm, The Long Road has become a landmark event in the UK festival calendar — a joyful meeting point for dedicated country fans and curious newcomers alike.
