The Dirty Nil are a high-voltage rock trio from Ontario, Canada, known for blending punk grit with classic rock swagger. Since forming in 2006, they’ve carved a name for themselves with explosive live shows and raw, unfiltered energy. Their debut album Higher Power (2016) established their signature sound — loud, fast, and unapologetically fun — while follow-ups Master Volume (2018) and Fuck Art (2021) showcased sharper songwriting and a flair for anthemic choruses. Frontman Luke Bentham’s wry humour and searing guitar work have become hallmarks of the band’s identity.
The Dirty Nil have built a loyal following through relentless touring, supporting acts such as The Who and The Menzingers, and lighting up UK festivals including Reading & Leeds and 2000trees. Their 2023 release Free Rein to Passions reaffirmed their status as one of modern rock’s most electrifying acts — a band that thrives on sweat, sincerity and the sheer joy of turning up the volume.
