test plan are a DIY trio from North London, blending post-punk, dance-punk, and noise rock into a high-energy, scuzzy sound. Formed in 2022, the band comprises Max Mason (drums and vocals), Michalis Fragkiadakis (guitar), and Rory Dickinson (bass and vocals). Drawing from diverse backgrounds—Rory hails from Bournemouth, Michalis from Greece, and Max from Dubai—the trio converged in London to create music that's both intense and groovy. Their debut single, "So Bored at Your Squat Rave," released in September 2023, captures a raw expression of frustration and alienation .
Since then, test plan has continued to release compelling tracks, including "Walking in a Vacuum" (March 2024), "It's Not Enough" (August 2024), and "My Teeth" (February 2025). These singles showcase their evolving sound, characterized by pounding beats, gritty basslines, and impassioned vocals. The band's dynamic live performances have earned them support slots with acts like Average Life Complaints, Libra Libra, Freddy Murky, and Bo Gritz, solidifying their presence in London's underground music scene .
