St. Paul and The Broken Bones are a dynamic soul collective from Birmingham, Alabama, known for their high-energy live shows, rich horn arrangements and the powerhouse vocals of frontman Paul Janeway. Formed in 2011, the band have carved out a distinctive space where classic soul, psych-funk and gospel influences meet bold modern flair. Their sixth studio album, St. Paul & The Broken Bones (2025), marks a creative reset—recorded at the legendary FAME Studios and produced by Eg White, it blends cinematic rock with heartfelt ballads and groove-driven soul.
Over the past decade, the band have earned a global reputation for their passionate performances and genre-blurring sound. They’ve toured extensively, sharing stages with The Rolling Stones, Lizzo and Black Pumas, and have played renowned festivals including Glastonbury, Coachella, Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo. They were even personally invited by Sir Elton John to perform at his Oscar party. With a line-up featuring trumpet, trombone, saxophone and keys alongside traditional rock instrumentation, St. Paul & The Broken Bones deliver a live experience that’s as joyful as it is deeply moving.
