Additional information

Spirited Followers are an experimental folk band from Cardiff that combines Appalachian folk, Indian classical, Greek, post-rock, and Avant-Garde music. With members from Cyprus, India, Wales, Ireland, and England, they celebrate the sounds of their respective cultures while blending them with avant-garde and experimental rock elements.

Kinaara, meaning water's edge, entwine Punjabi folk and Celtic epics with Indian classical-inspired improvisations. Their songs follow the ripples of Indian raags arriving at a darkly electric folk sound with Indian drones and a touch of psychedelia. The Leeds trio feature the haunting vocals of Satnam Galsian and Johnny Hogg's electric guitar, supported by new drummer Beth Veasey.

Ol Bailey is a singer-songwriter from Nottingham whose contemporary folk sound draws on the great songwriters of the 1960s.

Join Folkroom for a night of expansive, experimental folk music that draws on international traditions yet stands alone as something entirely of this moment.
