Shez Raja is a British-Asian electric bassist, composer and bandleader celebrated for his vibrant fusion of Indo-jazz, funk and global groove. Raised between the UK and Asia, he brings a rich cross-cultural heritage to his music, blending dazzling bass work with infectious rhythms and uplifting melodies. His project, the Shez Raja Collective, has become a staple on the UK jazz scene, known for its colourful, high-energy performances and genre-blurring sound.
