Shanay Holmes, one of the West End’s most powerful and emotive leading ladies, takes centre stage for her first-ever solo concert.
Following a celebrated 15-year career on the West End stage, Shanay steps into a bold new chapter, presenting an evening of orchestral reimagining’s from her forthcoming debut album Becoming, alongside the songs that have defined her journey.
Renowned for originating and reimagining roles, including her critically acclaimed, award-winning performance as Nancy in Oliver!, for which she received the Black British Theatre Award for Best Female Lead Actor in a Musical, Shanay is a “dynamic creative force in British theatre”.
Her performances, from the West End stage to The Olivier Awards and The Royal Variety Performance, are praised for their emotional depth, vocal power, and commanding stage presence.
Conducted by Chris Poon and accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, this one-night-only concert is set to be an unforgettable evening.
