Seedhe Maut are a trailblazing hip-hop duo from Delhi, India, made up of Calm and Encore ABJ. Widely recognised for their sharp lyricism and fearless approach, they have become one of the most important voices in modern Indian rap. Rapping primarily in Hindi, they first broke through with their debut album Bayaan (2018), before releasing the critically acclaimed Nayaab (2022), a project that firmly established their reputation for ambitious storytelling and uncompromising honesty. Their mixtape Lunch Break (2023) continued that momentum, showing a rawer, more immediate side to their sound.
Renowned for intense and high-impact live performances, Seedhe Maut have built a devoted following both at home and internationally. In July 2025, they brought their explosive live show to the UK, playing dates in London at Scala, as well as shows in Birmingham and Manchester. On stage, their chemistry and command of the crowd are unmistakable, delivering performances packed with urgency, passion and connection. Down-to-earth yet uncompromising, Seedhe Maut continue to push boundaries and represent a new era of global hip-hop.
