A fantastic evening
Another great performance from Ron Sexsmith, with a mix of new songs and many old favourites. His between-song chat is always entertaining and his unassuming manner quite charming. It was interesting to hear that he'd made the most of lockdown - not baking sourdough bread but improving his piano skills, which he demonstrated on a number of songs. A couple of other musicians in the audience and an enthusiastic introduction from Bob Harris just go to show how respected Ron is as a musician. This time around it was just him, his guitar and a piano, but whether solo or with a band he's always great value.
