About Rob Newman
Politically charged comedian Rob Newman is also an author and activist. After rising to fame on BBC sketch comedy show The Mary Whitehouse Experience where he teamed up with David Baddiel, the pair became the first comedians to play and sell out Wembley Arena.
He has written the novels Dependence Day (1994), Manners (1988), The Fountain at the Centre of the World (2003) and The Trade Secret (2013).
