Red Guitars draw on jpost punk and indie rock. They are best known for singles “Good Technology”, plus "Marimba Jive" and "Be With Me" which both topped the UK indie chart.
The Hull-based band formed in 1982, and consists of Matt Higgins (drums) Lou Howard (bass) Jeremy Kidd (vocals) Hallam Lewis (lead guitar) John Rowley (rhythm guitar) and Robert Holmes (vocals/guitar).
They have released the records Slow to Fade (1984) and Tales of the Expected (1986).
