Penetration/Morgellons @ Hairy Dog
What a superb night!
The venue is perfect, with a decent stage and a really good sound system. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the drinks fairly priced ( for a change ).
The music was great, with a good starting set, then the sublime Morgellons playing a blinder, as they always do - superbly crafted post punk songs played by extremely capable and talented musicians, with spot on vocals.
Haven't seen Penetration for many years, and they didn't disappoint - all the great songs you expected, played as you expected, with all the energy of 1980.
Pauline's vocals sounded as great as they did when she was an angry teenager - how can a voice not change at all after all this time?
In short, a night of heaven on earth.

Only 18 songs I think, could have done with more from (all) Moving Targets ;) Pauline in fine voice
