The prestigious Loud Poets Slam Series returns for its fourth year! Watch Nottingham's top poets compete in one of 10 heats taking place across Scotland, England and Northern Ireland for the biggest prize in UK slam poetry. The winner will take home £200 and qualify for the 2026 Grand Slam Final in Edinburgh, with a £3,000 cash prize! Featuring Henry Madd as sacrificial poet, this slam heat will be an electric celebration of the very best of spoken word. Sign up via iamloud.co/slam

Premier Nottingham venue Metronome is found in the city's vibrant Creative Quarter. The versatile space hosts everything from live music to comedy, spoken word and gaming events. Metronome offers unrivalled audio-visual facilities at the 400-capacity main stage, with room for an additional 560 people in the stylish bar and atrium. It also boasts a multi-camera live stream and broadcast facilities.
