ALBUMS

YUNGBLUDweird!

Alt-punk provocateur YUNGBLUD impressed with the release of killer debut album 21st Century Liability just two years ago. Now he’s back with second helping weird!, and this time round he’s brought his newfound celebrity friend with a collab with Machine Gun Kelly!

Speaking to AP Press, the diva from Doncaster explained that the record is packed full of realness, and reveals both his inner feelings and shines a light on the stories of people around him; “The reaction to my debut was liberating [and] the realization that there were people out there like me, but this record was so special to me because, again, I got to talk about how I feel. I got to open my fucking soul, and I know it’s going to connect to [the fans] because it’s about them. The songs are stories I’ve heard.

YUNGBLUD has just dropped new album weird! which is available on CD, Vinyl, Limited Edition White Vinyl and a Bundle containing CD + Limited Edition White Vinyl. Get the essential record ahead of his two massive shows at the iconic Rock City where he showcases his new material.

YUNGBLUD tickets are currently available.

RINA SAWAYAMASAWAYAMA

Blending R&B with nu-metal guitar into a fusion that recalls the monumental pop of the millennium yet still sounding so fresh and new; Rina Sawayama is the unique songwriter rebel that is tearing up all the rules and causing quite the stir. Steadily building as fanbase, drawn to her outsider status, she is ready to burst into the mainstream with debut album SAWAYAMA which deals with issues of identity and angst by being both bitter and sweet.

I’d say it’s alternative pop, but I’d also say it’s an opera—not in genre but musically. It’s the theatrics of my sound that’s so ridiculous. I would call my music style a 2000s sugar pop opera. I don’t think a lot of pop artists want to associate themselves with opera, so I think that’s a win!

Make sure you grab your copy of SAWAYAMA, out now on CD, Limited Edition Green Vinyl plus a Bundle containing Limited Edition Green Vinyl + Gold Vinyl!

Also newly released today; Rina Sawayama announces headline dates at Leeds Beckett University: Students Union and O2 Institute Birmingham in support of her awesome         first album – tickets on sale with Gigantic!

Rina Sawayama tickets are currently available.
