SABRINA CLAUDIO – ‘Energy (Sonny Fodera Remix)’ feat. A$AP Rocky & BURNS

Following on from the release of her incredible debut album ‘No Rain, No Flowers’ released just last year, rising star Sabrina Claudio is back with her sultry track ‘Energy’ which sees her team up with esteemed producer BURNS and the one and only A$AP Rocky. Taking it to the next level, she has just dropped a remix from Sonny Fodera which has all the makings of a club classic.

Make sure you see Sabrina Claudio when she plays Manchester Academy 2 and Electric Brixton in London during November.

Sabrino Claudio tickets are currently available.

SEA GIRLS – ‘Closer

Melodic indie upstarts Sea Girls have seen a massive upswell in support ever since the release of their debut EP ‘Call Me Out’ in 2017, both from their growing fanbase plus the BBC and were the only band listed in their Sound of 2019. Now the boys are back with their joyfully bouncy new single ‘Closer’.

It was originally written as an electronic track about being far away. Replacing the synths with guitars back in London gave the track an absolute new lease of life.” – Rory Young

Sea Girls tickets are currently available.

TWIN PEAKS – ‘Dance Through It

Chicago-based indie-rock outfit Twin Peaks have really found the groove on their newly released track ‘Dance Through It’. The sultry single is accompanied by a promotional video directed by Ariel Fisher and Leo Schrepel which sees a young woman having a psychedelic experience on the streets of Berlin which really adds a remarkable visual quality and captures the songs adventurous energy.

Writing and arranging ‘Dance Through It’ felt like a dive into and embrace of experimenting with a new palette for us. After having been directly involved in the creation and direction of all of our videos, it felt fitting to allow this song the breath of collaboration in having Ariel Fisher take the helm and run with it.” – Cadien Lake James

Dance Through It’ will appear on their upcoming fourth album ‘Lookout Low’ which is expected to be released by Communion Records on September 13th.

Twin Peaks tickets are currently available.

PUMAROSA – ‘Fall Apart’

It’s felt like a long time since Pumarosa exploded onto the scene with their lauded electro tinged post-punk debut album ‘The Witch’. Thankfully, they have just made their welcome return with their dark and beguiling belting breakbeat inspired single ‘Fall Apart’ which is the lead single from their follow up album ‘Devastation’ scheduled for release via Fiction Records on the 1st of November.

Pumarosa will be showing off their new material with a tour in November, playing headline sets at The Cluny in Manchester, Manchester Academy 3 and Thekla in Bristol during November.

Album

ADA LEA – ‘what we say in private

Described by CLASH as “An album that feels like a collaboration between heartbreak and new hope”, daring Canadian musician Ada Lea (AKA Alexandra Levy) has certainly excelled herself on her very first album ‘what we say in private’.

Levy explores various degrees of vulnerability, raw emotional experience and differing ways of communicating with one another across ten introspective tracks of expertly crafted and enigmatic songs. This record would be a triumph for a seasoned songwriter, and it’s a truly exceptional debut album hinting at great things to come for Ada Lea.

Ada Lea tickets are currently available.
