About Muyiwa & Riversongz
The internationally-acclaimed singer and broadcaster Muyiwa brings his pioneering gospel sounds to the Royal Festival Hall. Huge on the British gospel scene Muyiwa’s captivating sound fuses soul, rock, pop and R ‘n’ B with diverse musical influences from his youth, ranging from afro-beat legend Fela Kuti to American gospel greats the Winans. Muyiwa and Riversongz return to London following a sell-out show at O2’s Indigo2 and a successful UK tour. The evening will be hosted by award-winning comedian, writer and actor, Felix Dexter, whose TV credits include The Real McCoy, The Fast Show and The Lenny Henry Show. The Lifeforce band promise a sensational opening half with special guests to be announced.
This special Celebration of Life concert supports the Revival anti-violence campaign which focuses on the need to cherish and respect all life.
