About Manic Street Preachers

Formed in Blackwood, Wales, the Manics burst onto the scene with Generation Terrorists (1992), a defiant statement of intent that mixed punk fury with glam-rock ambition. They followed it up with a string of era-defining albums, from the bleak and brutal The Holy Bible (1994) to the anthemic, multi-platinum Everything Must Go (1996). Songs like "A Design for Life," "If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next," and "Motorcycle Emptiness" have become generational anthems, fusing literary depth with working-class frustration and hope.

Never content with nostalgia, the Manics continue to push forward with each release, proving that their fire still burns just as fiercely as ever. Whether delivering politically charged rock epics or introspective acoustic ballads, they remain a band that demands to be heard.

Great Night

Great setting for a concert with Edinburgh Castle as a backdrop. Absolutely amazing. Fantastic performance from both bands. Very well organised event with easily located ( plentiful ) toilets and bars. A very smooth operation indeed.
