Mallory Knox is a British alternative rock band formed in 2009 in Cambridge, England. The group, consisting of Mikey Chapman (vocals), Sam Douglas (bass/vocals), James Gillett (guitar), Joe Savins (guitar), and Dave Rawling (drums), gained attention with their emotionally charged lyrics, soaring melodies, and a blend of anthemic rock and post-hardcore influences.
Their debut album, Signals (2013), and the follow-up, Asymmetry (2014), were well-received, earning them a dedicated fan base and widespread acclaim in the UK rock scene. Songs like "Lighthouse" and "Shout at the Moon" became fan favorites, showcasing their talent for writing catchy yet introspective tracks.
Mallory Knox continued to evolve their sound over the years, releasing several albums and performing at major festivals before disbanding in 2019. Their legacy remains as a significant part of the British alternative rock wave of the 2010s, and in 2023 the band reunited.
