Formed in Derby in 2005, LostAlone are a three-piece rock powerhouse made up of Steven Battelle (lead vocals, guitar), Alan Williamson (bass, backing vocals) and Mark Gibson (drums, backing vocals). Known for their genre-blending sound—where soaring choruses, heavy riffs and lush vocal harmonies collide—they released three critically adored albums: Say No to the World (2007), I’m A UFO in This City (2012) and Shapes of Screams (2014). To mark the tenth anniversary of Shapes of Screams, the band issued a limited-edition heavyweight vinyl reissue in 2024—and celebrated with a special hometown show in Derby, performing the whole album live.
After an eight-year hiatus, LostAlone surprised fans with a triumphant return in 2022, dropping their emotionally charged fourth album, The Warring Twenties. Since then, they’ve shared stadium stages with My Chemical Romance, toured with McFly, and released resonant singles like “All At Once”, “The Final Call For Forever” and “I’m A Fire That You Can’t Put Out”. Their live shows—overflowing with melodic grandeur and raw energy—have solidified their reputation as an under-the-radar band that delivers big, time and again.
