Taiwanese dream pop singer-songwriter LÜCY spins shimmering, bilingual soundscapes that have carried her from Taipei to festival stages at SXSW, Primavera Sound and Clockenflap.
Taiwanese singer-songwriter LÜCY has quickly become one of the most distinctive new voices in Mandarin music, weaving dream pop, indie folk, electronic textures and psychedelic soundscapes into something both intimate and otherworldly. Singing mainly in Mandarin and English, she made her debut with the single "Cactus" (2021) before releasing her self-titled album LÜCY (2022), which featured "Oh Hey", a collaboration with Japanese band Hitsujibungaku. Her single "Eyes" (2022) further cemented her reputation for shimmering melodies and quietly powerful vocals.
That reputation has carried her well beyond Taiwan. LÜCY has performed at major international festivals including SXSW, Primavera Sound and Clockenflap, and earned a Best New Artist nomination at the 34th Golden Melody Awards, Taiwan's most prestigious music prize, having already won the same title at the 13th Golden Indie Music Awards. Live, she's known for turning each show into something immersive and hypnotic, a hushed, glowing intensity that stays with audiences long after she leaves the stage.
